A Personalized, Autologous Filler Option
What Is BioGel Natural Bio-Filler?
Areas That May Be Considered for BioGel
BioGel for the Under-Eye Area
The under-eye area requires careful evaluation because the skin is thin and the surrounding anatomy is complex. During your consultation, your provider will assess the location and degree of hollowing, skin thickness and elasticity, existing puffiness or fluid retention, previous filler treatments, facial symmetry, and the relationship between the lower eyelid and cheek. BioGel may be discussed for selected patients, but it is not appropriate for every under-eye concern. Your provider will explain the available options, their limitations, and the potential risks associated with injections in this area.
Your BioGel Procedure
Your care begins with a consultation and facial assessment. Your provider will review:
- Your medical and surgical history
- Current medications and supplements
- Allergies
- Previous injectable treatments
- History of bruising or bleeding
- Existing skin or medical conditions
- The areas you would like evaluated
- Your aesthetic preferences and goals
You will also have an opportunity to discuss alternative treatments and ask questions about the procedure.
During Treatment
The treatment area is cleansed, and a topical or local numbing option may be used when appropriate.
Your provider administers the BioGel according to the individualized injection plan discussed with you before treatment. The length of the appointment depends on the number and location of the areas being addressed.
