What is Pico Laser?
Pico laser is an advanced skin and tattoo treatment that delivers light energy in picoseconds — trillionths of a second. These ultra-short pulses help break down pigment and tattoo ink into tiny particles that the body can naturally clear, while producing less heat than many traditional lasers.
Our system uses three wavelengths, each suited to different concerns. The 532nm wavelength targets redness, visible vessels, and the redness associated with rosacea. The 1064nm wavelength targets pigmentation, including melasma. The 755nm wavelength can be paired with a charcoal mask for a rejuvenation facial that helps refresh tone and texture. Pico laser is not FDA approved.
What can Pico Laser treat?
Unwanted tattoos
Sun spots, age spots, and freckles
Melasma and pigmentation
Redness, visible vessels, and hemangiomas
Redness associated with rosacea
Acne scarring
Skin rejuvenation with a charcoal facial
Uneven tone and fine lines
How long does it last?
Results vary from patient to patient. Pigment and tattoo clearance is generally long-lasting once the body has cleared the targeted particles, but new pigmentation can develop with sun exposure, hormonal changes, or aging. Daily sun protection and a consistent skincare routine help support your results. Individual results vary.
Your Pico Laser treatment, step by step
Before treatment
Your visit begins with a consultation to review your skin, medical history, and goals. The treatment area is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort.
During treatment
Sessions typically last 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area. Most patients describe the sensation as small, quick snaps against the skin. Cooling and numbing help keep you comfortable.
Immediately after
The skin may appear pink, slightly swollen, or warm — similar to a mild sunburn. Tattoo areas may show a temporary frosting effect that fades within minutes.
Recovery & downtime
Most patients return to normal activities the same day. Sun protection is essential during healing. Some areas may experience mild scabbing or peeling.
When you’ll see results
Pigment concerns often begin improving within a few weeks. Tattoos and deeper pigment continue to fade with each session as the body clears the broken-down particles.
Recommended treatment plan
Most concerns require 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. Tattoo removal may require additional sessions depending on size, color, age, and depth of ink.
How long results last
Once pigment or ink is cleared, it generally does not return. New pigment can develop from future sun exposure or hormonal changes.
What affects longevity
Sun exposure, skincare habits, hormones, lifestyle, and skin type all influence how long your results last.
Cost of the treatment
Starting at $2100.
